Takeaways from Half girlfriend



The story is based on a Madhav Jha- Bihari guy who has taken admission in Delhi University and is hesitant over speaking in English.  He got astonished by one of the famous rich girls of his university- Riya Somani. She is one of the fluent English speakers and has the British accent in all her speech but she is not of some lame attitude. She is a decent, simple and very charming character. The story is romantic and heart broking as well. The music is just outstanding and I am damn sure you must have played hundred times now especially the song called “baarish”. The overall movie will connect to you for sure. Shraddha just looks fabulous and you will love to watch her in those pretty dresses. Arjun has done a great job but we cannot say this is his best of.


The movie takes you on a ride with love story to learn a story. It has touched some topic which we experience in our real life. Speaking English has become a benchmark for any individual or a business and if you do not express yourself better in English that means you won’t be able to achieve good in life and this has what movie has covered. Madhav Jha has the same struggle with speaking in English. But in a university student selection interview, he says that “aap aek accha chatra lena chahenge ke bahar ki countries se jiski language acchi ho” which proves that English has definitely become a rage communication language but our matrubhasha (mother language) is Hindi.


Another highlight is that no matter what you want to achieve in life- money, development in society, relationships, goals you can and there is no excuses for it. You just need to take chances and you will achieve it. There is always a half way but to go far and far, its has to meet the togetherness of an individual’s hard work, passion, and togetherness.  

Half girlfriend teaches you to see the other side of the same scene, may be it will change the way you deal with your fear and bring back that love again in your life with full commitment because half can never work for anyone.
